New application features and service fee by ESD

New application features and service fee for expatriate employment, dependant, and professional visit passes effective 01 September 2024

TalentCorp and MYXpats have introduced an online platform to streamline expatriate applications such as the Employment Pass (EP) and Professional Visit Pass (PVP), aiming to process them within five working days.

Key updates include:

  • Xpats Gateway (launched 15 June 2023)
    A single platform that integrates approvals from 26 agencies, making it easier to get necessary documents.
  • Faster Processing
    For Tier 1, Tier 2, and Critical Sector companies, application processing time is now three working days, down from five.
  • Online Services
    The ESD Online system now offers services like amendments, cancellations, and permissions without manual submissions, simplifying the process.
  • Expatriate Satellite Centre (ESC)
    A new center at KLIA Terminal 2, open 24/7, speeds up expatriate pass endorsements, saving time and costs for employers.
